For many divers, seeing the DIVEVOLK housing for the first time is a "wow" moment. The game-changing technology that turns your everyday smartphone into a professional underwater camera is truly impressive. But as you explore our offerings, a common question arises: with several versions available, which one is the perfect fit for your needs?

If you've ever felt spoiled for choice between our models, you're in the right place. Today, we're breaking it all down. This article will give you a clear, comprehensive guide to the DIVEVOLK SeaTouch 4 series.

The Current Lineup: Meet the SeaTouch 4 Series (as of July 2025)

Today, our main product line is the fourth-generation SeaTouch 4 series. It consists of our current models, with the primary differences being material, expandability, and specific phone model compatibility. All versions share the core DIVEVOLK DNA: 60-meter depth rating, full underwater touchscreen control, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connectivity for surface calls and data. And thanks to our modular design, if you upgrade your phone, you often only need a new 3D-printed adapter block to continue using your housing.

1. SeaTouch 4 Max (The Original Classic - Discontinued)

Launched in October 2021, the SeaTouch 4 Max was our classic fourth-generation model and a favorite for many divers. However, as smartphones continue to evolve, particularly with the release of larger models like the iPhone 16 series, we have phased out this original version. The classic SeaTouch 4 Max has now been officially discontinued and fully replaced by the upgraded SeaTouch 4 Max Plus, which offers broader compatibility and enhanced features for today's devices.

2. SeaTouch 4 Max Platinum (Custom Fit for Large Flagship Phones)

Released in May 2024, the Platinum version is a specialized, high-end model, tailor-made for users with the largest and thickest flagship smartphones, especially those with prominent camera bumps. Its body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, making it incredibly tough. It features a built-in lens/filter adapter ring and dual mounting points, allowing you to directly attach lenses or mount the housing on trays and tripods. If you use a top-tier flagship device like the iPhone 16 Pro Max, Xiaomi 14 Ultra, or VIVO X200 Ultra, the Platinum is engineered to provide a perfect, secure fit.

3. SeaTouch 4 Max Plus (The New Standard & Best Seller)

The SeaTouch 4 Max Plus, launched in October 2024, is now our latest and most popular model, offering the best performance and value for the vast majority of users. As the direct upgrade to the classic Max, it features several key improvements. The internal space has been slightly increased, making it compatible with more phone models, including the entire iPhone 16 series. This extra space also makes inserting and removing your phone easier, and many users report an even more sensitive touch experience. To add external lenses or filters, you will need to purchase an Expansion Clamp.

Available Colors: Black, Pink, Starry Gray.

Unmatched Phone Compatibility & A Crucial Note

DIVEVOLK utilizes a "modular adapter" design. This means we are constantly designing and 3D printing new internal phone adapters to fit the latest smartphones, and we update our official compatibility list quarterly. You can always find the latest information in the Customer Support section of our website.

As of today, verified compatible models include (but are not limited to):

  • Apple: Full iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 series (including Plus, Pro, and Pro Max models).

Important Note on Adapters!

Please be aware that the internal phone adapters for the SeaTouch 4 Max, SeaTouch 4 Max Plus, and SeaTouch 4 Max Platinum are NOT cross-compatible Each housing version has slightly different internal dimensions. When ordering a new phone adapter, you must confirm which version of the housing you own and purchase the corresponding adapter to avoid the risk of your phone getting stuck or not fitting correctly.
