From October 22 to 24, 2026, DIVEVOLK exhibited at the China Marine Economy Expo (CMEE) at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. Most of the trade events on our calendar are dive shows. This one was different: a national expo built around the wider ocean economy, from offshore energy and green shipping to ocean monitoring, marine biomedicine and coastal tourism. At Booth H96, DIVEVOLK showed where a phone, a full-touchscreen housing and a real-time underwater link fit into that picture.

A Marine Economy Expo, Not a Dive Show

The expo's pre-show announcement describes CMEE as a national-level marine economy event that has been based in Shenzhen since 2019. The 2026 edition was organized into eight core zones: deep-sea integrated energy, green shipping and low-carbon logistics, marine electronic information, marine ecology and sustainable development, low-altitude applications at sea, full-space ocean monitoring and disaster warning, marine biomedicine, and modern marine services and coastal tourism. Booth headers across the hall carried the 2026 theme of a digital, smart ocean.

That list explains why an underwater imaging brand belonged on the floor. Marine electronics, ecology and coastal tourism all depend on people being able to see what happens below the surface, record it and share it. A diver with a phone in a housing is one of the most practical ways to do that, and with a live data link, the people on land can watch at the same moment.

The Full DIVEVOLK Lineup at Booth H96

Exhibiting as DIVEVOLK (Zhuhai) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., the team brought the full range. The SeaTouch 4 Max, the flagship that many divers already use around the world, sat alongside the new SeaTouch 6 Pro, the full-touchscreen underwater smartphone housing released in 2026 and rated to 60 m (196 ft). A large SeaTouch 6 Pro banner framed the left side of the booth, and the table in front of it held complete housing setups, underwater lenses and filters, and DIVEVOLK dive lights.

The common thread is simple. SeaTouch housings are button-free: once the phone is sealed inside, the diver works the phone's own touchscreen through the housing's membrane, using the same camera app and settings they use on land. For a visitor coming from shipping, energy or ocean science rather than recreational diving, that is the quickest way to understand the idea. The camera they already carry becomes an underwater tool.

SeaLink: Real-Time Data From Below the Surface

The right half of the booth belonged to SeaLink. Its banner, which carries a dive award of innovation badge, hung behind a SeaLink unit on a stand, an orange DIVEVOLK surface marker and a pair of full-face masks. SeaLink won the 2026 boot Dive Award, and a display card on the table summed up the idea in one line: the underwater world, shared in real time.

The SeaLink Underwater Smartphone Data Transmitter works with a phone in a SeaTouch housing and keeps that phone connected to the surface, so live video and voice can travel up while the diver is still in the water. At a dive show, that usually reads as a content-creation tool. At a marine economy expo it reads more broadly: a practical way to bring live underwater footage to classrooms, tourism platforms, media and anyone who needs eyes on a site without sending a full camera crew.

A Live Tiktok Dive Broadcast on the Booth Screen

The clearest demonstration was not on the table. A monitor at the booth carried a live tiktok dive broadcast streamed from underwater, so visitors could watch the stream as it happened and then pick up the same type of gear in front of them. On screen, a diver moved over the reef while the comment feed scrolled alongside.

The comments on the screen show what makes this format useful for ecology education and coastal tourism. Viewers asked the host how deep the dive was and how much air was left, thanked the host for explaining what they were seeing, and asked whether a sea squirt is a plant or an animal. Others asked whether someone who cannot swim could still try diving. These are the questions a guide or a teacher would want to answer, and the live link lets them answer while the subject is still in frame.

DIVEVOLK has seen the same pattern closer to the expo venue. In Shenzhen, SeaLink carried Da'ao Bay's coral spawning live to the public, and in nearby Zhuhai, Zhuhai TV used SeaLink for a Wanshan Islands underwater science livestream. Both show the same idea at different scales: a diver with a phone can put a living reef in front of an audience in real time.

Hands-On at the Booth

As at our other events, the booth was built to be touched. DIVEVOLK staff walked visitors through the setups on the table, and visitors picked up complete housing rigs to feel the weight and balance of the tray, handles and lights for themselves.

The front table also carried a Xiaohongshu post-and-share giveaway, a DIVEVOLK FAMILY sticker sheet, small plush sea-creature toys and SeaTouch 6 Pro brochures for visitors to take home.

Why This Expo Matters for Underwater Imaging

Exhibiting at a marine economy expo puts consumer underwater gear in a different light. In the dive community, a smartphone housing is a camera accessory. Next to zones on ocean monitoring, marine ecology and coastal tourism, it is also a low-barrier way to document a site, a sightseeing product for dive operators and a teaching tool when paired with a live link. The DIVEVOLK booth made that case with working gear and a live stream rather than slides.

If you missed us at CMEE, you can see how our trade-show demos usually run in the recap from DRT Show Chengdu 2026. For questions about SeaLink for education, tourism or broadcast projects, or about matching a phone to a SeaTouch housing, contact the DIVEVOLK team.
